Five years ago, my aunt married a local man from Senegal, in West Africa. The whole family was invited to visit for the tribal wedding. It was an entirely unique and thought-provoking experience; three days of celebrations, tribal dances, cows and pigs as part of the dote, outfits in the wedding print and wise women all formed part of the wedding.
